Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team for the evening shift. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our parking facility during the designated hours. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for ensuring the protection of property and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the parking facility premises regularly to detect and deter any suspicious activity.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to ensure prompt response to any security breaches or emergencies.
- Conduct routine inspections of gates, fences, and other security equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Enforce parking regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance and support to truck drivers and visitors as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response personnel when necessary.
- Complete detailed reports documenting security incidents, disturbances, or violations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the highest standards of customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE A VEHICLE!!!!!!
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Valid security guard license or certification required.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Complete detailed reports documenting security incidents, disturbances, or violations.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Physical ability to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
